ABOUT THE CLUB
Tranmere Rovers currently play in npower League 1. Our nickname is Rovers or Superwhite Army because of our all white home kit. Our ground is called Prenton Park and we have played there since March 1912, so this season marks our 100th year at the stadium!.
OUR MASCOT
Our mascot is called Rover and he is dog! He is great with kids and will be putting on a special effort for this match to entertain all the families that come along before the game.
A BIT ABOUT FOOTBALL
Football matches last 90 minutes and are played in two halves of 45 minutes each. At the end of the first half there is a 'half-time' break of 15 minutes that will allow you time to go and get a drink or a bite to eat from our refreshment kiosks.
Each team is comprised of 11 players (including 1 goalkeeper) and each team is allowed to make 3 substitutions.
The winner of the match will have 3 points added to their season total. If the match ends in a draw then each team will get 1 point each.
