James Norwood was at the double for Tranmere as his two goals helped Rovers come back from 1-0 down to win 2-1 against Guiseley at Prenton Park.
Norwood struck in injury time at the end of both halves to overturn a 24th minute opener by Danny Boshell and give Tranmere all three points.
Manager Gary Brabin made two changes to the side which began against Lincoln City last weekend with Liam Hogan coming in for Ritchie Sutton and Adam Mekki replacing Ben Tomlinson. Lois Maynard returned from international duty on the bench.
Rovers created a chance early on when James Norwood's cross found Andy Mangan whose effort was saved by Guiseley goalkeeper Steve Drench.
Guiseley had a couple of great opportunities on seven minutes when Steve McNulty miscontrolled and Adam Boyes raced in on goal only for Scott Davies to deny him before getting up to block a follow up from Gavin Rothery.
Tranmere had a couple of headed chances on 11 minutes when first Mangan and then Gary Taylor-Fletcher had efforts saved by Drench.
The visitors took the lead on 24 minutes when a ball forward was half cleared to Danny Boshell whose sweetly struck shot found the bottom corner of the net past Davies.
On 34 minutes, Steven Jennings burst into the penalty area and his low cross somehow evaded a decisive touch and Guiseley cleared their lines.
Liam Hogan had a shot from the right edge of the penalty area on 37 minutes but it flew into the side netting the wrong side from Rovers' point of view.
Tranmere drew level on the stroke of half time when Adam Mekki's left wing corner was nodded home at the near post by Norwood.
Rovers had some early chances in the second half as Norwood, Harris and Mekki all had efforts narrowly off-target.
Midway through the second half, Taylor-Fletcher got on the end of Matt Hill's cross from the left but his shot from 15 yards went just wide.
Gary Brabin made his first change on 69 minutes when Martin Riley limped off to be replaced by Lois Maynard.
Guiseley went close on 75 minutes when a 25 yard free-kick was sent just wide by Oliver Norburn.
Rovers' second substitution of the game came with five minutes remaining as Ben Tomlinson came on in place of Mekki.
In the final minute of injury time, the referee awarded a penalty for a foul on Norwood and the striker picked himself up and blasted home the spot kick.
