Tranmere made it nine away matches without defeat with a 0-0 draw at Dover Athletic.
Gary Brabin named the same starting line-up for the fourth successive game with Steve McNulty passed fit to start. Lois Maynard came in to take a place on the bench.
The hosts had the best openings of the first exchanges with Stefan Payne hitting a shot which Liam Ridehalgh cleared and Sean Raggett volleyed over the crossbar from six yards.
Rovers struggled to get into the game and other than a couple of dangerous crosses from Jake Kirby and Jeff Hughes, there was little action in the Dover area in the first half with the scores at 0-0 at half time.
Tranmere made a change at half time with Jay Harris coming on in place of Michael Higdon.
Harris had a shot on goal on 51 minutes when a corner was half cleared to the midfielder who volleyed just over the bar.
There was a delay in play shortly after when the referee Dean Treleaven was replaced by fourth official Andreas Anastisiou in the middle.
James Norwood headed wide at one end while Raggett hit the crossbar from a free kick by Nick Deverdics.
On 78 minutes, Lois Maynard came on to replace Adam Mekki and seconds later, Ridehalgh's free kick found Norwood whose header was well saved by Mitch Walker.
Hughes then forced another good save from Walker with Kirby firing the rebound across the face of goal.
In the first minute of second half added time, Maynard hit a venomous low shot which Walker did well to parry before collecting at the second attempt.
But it ended goalless after a hard-fought encounter.
