Mellon: "It's A Huge Game For The Club"

Manager looks ahead to Saturday's big FA Trophy semi-final game at Prenton Park

Micky Mellon is looking forward to Saturday's game where Tranmere Rovers host Macclesfield Town in the Buildbase FA Trophy semi-final second leg (3pm kick-off) with a place at Wembley up for grabs.

The scores are level at 1-1 after the first leg at the Moss Rose last weekend, and the manager says that he and the squad and looking forward to a big occasion at Prenton Park.

He told Tranmere Player HD: "It's a huge game for the Club. There's an awful lot of work yet to be done but we're certainly looking forward to the occasion.

"We're looking no further ahead than Saturday, we've tried to attack every tournament that we've entered by using the squad.

"To try and give the Football Club the opportunity of getting to Wembley is something we shouldn't let pass us by.

"We've got a responsibility to the fantastic fans to go and try and give them an opportunity to follow their Football Club, our Football Club, at the national stadium."
