Tranmere Rovers are 90 minutes away from a potential date at Wembley Stadium in a cup final as we take on Macclesfield Town in the Buildbase FA Trophy semi-final second leg at Prenton Park on Saturday afternoon.
The scores are level at 1-1 following the first leg at the Moss Rose last weekend, so the tie is in the balance going into this weekend's encounter.
Micky Mellon is beginning to see light at the end of the injury haunted tunnel. Jack Dunn and James Wallace have resumed light training, but Saturday's game could prove too soon for either of them to be involved.
Ben Tollitt, Jake Kirby and Darren Stephenson are ruled out for the season, while Lois Maynard is a couple of weeks away from a return.
The manager also has a doubt over left-back Liam Ridehalgh who picked up a knock on Tuesday night against Torquay United.
Since last Saturday's first leg, Macclesfield boss John Askey has brought back former Tranmere winger Jack Mackreth on loan from Bury, but he is ineligible for this weekend's game.
The Silkmen prepared for the second leg with a 1-1 draw at home against Gateshead in midweek with John McCombe equalising with eight minutes remaining.
