Brand new for season 2012/13...Tranmere Rovers are introducing a Junior Superwhites Matchday Club starting at the Leyton Orient game.
The Junior Superwhites has been running as our junior supporters club for the past four seasons with numbers growing each year. As families are looking for more to do that is great value for money, we thought with the excellent facilities in the Recreation Centre it would be a shame to not offer some fun activities for kids to take part in before each home game.
The Matchday Club will cost just £2 for each child to join in and activities will include soccer skills suitable for all abilities along with various other activities throughout the season. At last week's special taster session the members got the first look at the Club's new away kit when they met some of the Rovers players.
The Club will be a great way for young supporters to feel like they are part of the Club as well as have fun and meet new friends.
Parents can sit in the Recreation Centre café and relax with a cuppa, or soak up the pre-match atmosphere in the Aldo's bar before picking up their child and making their way into the ground.
The Matchday Club will usually begin at 1pm, last for 1 hour 15 minutes and will be open to children coming to the match aged between 5 and 12.
To join in, all you need to do is book a place before the day of the game at the Club Shop. Spaces will be limited so we will not be able to admit children who turn up on the day. The Club Shop is open Monday - Friday 9.30am - 5pm and Saturdays 10am - 1pm.
