Ronnie Moore says Ian Goodison was one of the few players to impress him in Saturday's defeat at Yeovil Town.
The defender recovered from a groin injury that had forced him to be substituted during the first half of the 1-1 draw against Notts County four days earlier to play the full 90 minutes at Huish Park.
The game was the 40-year old's ninth of the season and took his all time tally for Rovers to 387 - putting him just six short of the all-time top ten for the Club.
Moore told Tranmere Player: "I was pleased with Goody on Saturday.
"When you consider the time he's had out I thought he was immense for us on Saturday. Him and Ash came out with a lot of credit, not many more did though."
