Ronnie Moore will be without Paul Black and
Adam McGurk for the season opener at Chesterfield after the pair picked up thigh injuries.
Left back Black is set to be in the treatment room for four to six weeks, while McGurk is ruled out for a fortnight.
Rovers are already unable to select Ash Taylor and Jake Cassidy for the game at the b2net Stadium as the pair are on international duty with Wales Under-21s.
However, Ian Goodison has returned to training and will be available.
