IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM KENNY SHIELS, HEAD OF YOUTH

When we are using the M62 to travel to games the new pick up point for Liverpool children will be at Halfords on Edge lane, opposite Macdonalds and Frankie & Bennys Restaurants.

This is approximately one mile before the start of the M62 (the Rocket). This decision has been made purely from a safety aspect as the Rocket has become an accident waiting to happen and is putting children and parents at risk. I hope this is not too much of an inconvenience to everyone.

When we are going north to the M58 the pick up for Liverpool children will be The Mons car park.

Staying on Health & Safety:

When we travel to matches and part of our travelling party are in cars and part Mini-Bus the cars tend to follow the Mini-Buses, when we go onto motorways this can be very dangerous as we form a long convoy and heavy duty vehicles are fighting to get into our inside lane, this is very difficult for them as our convoy is quite long. We must make sure that everyone has directions for every trip. We shall ensure that the directions are on our website at www.tranmererovers.co.uk or handed to a parent before we start the journey.

We must take extreme measures to ensure the health and safety of our players whilst they are not only on our programme but also when they are going to and from the programme. Please accept that these small inconveniences are purely for safety and welfare.
