Tranmere Rovers would like to clarify an incorrect report in today's Daily Post regarding the Chairman's explanation of why this season will be her last at the Club.

The reasons for her decision were clearly set out in the detailed programme column - a full copy of which was circulated to press last night and also appears on www.tranmererovers.co.uk.

There is no connection with Lorraine Rogers' other work commitments which are not 'increasingly busy' as suggested in the article.

In fact they have reduced over the last year. The Chairman is no longer an FA Council Member, a Trustee of National Museums Liverpool or a Director of Radio City as reported. Her only directorships are at Tranmere Rovers, the Football League and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic.

Furthermore, this will be Lorraine Rogers' 11th season at Tranmere Rovers and not her 10th as reported.
