Tranmere Supporters are being asked to help raise funds for a new minibus for community disability football coaching sessions.

A ground collection organised by the Sam Bencheikh Memorial Fund (a registered charity) will be held at Prenton Park prior to the Leeds United game on Saturday, 11 August, kick off 3pm.

With help from the Tranmere Rovers in the Community team, a number of fund raising initiatives have already taken place, including the completion of the Wirral Coastal Walk earlier this summer which is expected to eventually raise £7,500.

It is hoped the ground collection will go some way to reaching the total required to purchase the minibus (approximately £30,000), which will enable disabled people to fully involve themselves in the football coaching sessions run by Tranmere Rovers In The Community.
