The Matchday Experience
Saturday's game against Northampton will be the first ever Matchday Experience at Prenton Park.
Pupils from Great Meols Primary School have been specially invited as the first school from Wirral to take part in the new initiative from Tranmere Rovers In The Community.
Run by the Community team, The Matchday Experience will see pupils, their parents and teachers picked up from their schools and transported to Prenton Park.
They will then visit the Learning Centre where they will take part in a one hour coaching and football fun session with a range of games, competitions and prizes.
After being given a snack and a drink, the youngsters will then be escorted into the ground where they will be given a copy of the matchday programme and watch the match with the Community team before being taken back to their school after the final whistle.
On Saturday around 50 youngsters from Great Meols will be attending the game. The school recently received a visit from John Achterberg who had a great time answering the children's questions. We hope they enjoy their day at Prenton Park.
