On Saturday Tranmere welcome pupils, teachers and parents from Gayton Primary School as the third participants in the Matchday Experience at Prenton Park.

Following on from St Peter's Primary (Heswall) and Great Meols Primary, the pupils from Gayton will be picked up from their school and transported to Prenton Park.

They will then visit the Learning Centre where they will take part in a one hour coaching and football fun session with a range of games, competitions and prizes.

After being given a snack and a drink, the youngsters will then be escorted into the ground where they will be given a copy of the matchday programme and watch the match with the Community team before being taken back to their school after the final whistle.

Gayton Primary recently received a special visit from Ian Goodison and Calvin Zola, while Paul McLaren and Shane Sherriff spent time with pupils form St Peter's at their school.

Around 35 children will be at today's game, while 50 from St Peter's Primary were present at the Swansea game. Community officer Steve Williams said: "The Matchday Experiences have been a great success so far. The pupils, parents and teachers have all enjoyed the occasion and hopefully we've managed to convert some of them into Tranmere fans."
