West Kirby Reach Northern Final

West Kirby Grammar School reached the Northern Final of the Football League Community Cup on Wednesday when they won the North West stage of the competition.
Representing Tranmere Rovers (after winning the local stage before Christmas), West Kirby beat Wrexham 2-0, Stockport 2-1, Oldham 2-1, Port Vale 10-0 and drew with Stoke 2-2 & Macclesfield 2-2 to win the league with 14 points.
The girls are now through to Northern Regional final where four teams play off for the right to play the Southern regional winners at Wembley before the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Final.
