The start of the school term means one thing for Tranmere - school visits on Thursday afternoons.

The player visits started up for 2008-09 yesterday, with Chris Greenacre, Danny Holmes and members of Tranmere Rovers In The Community meeting pupils at St Saviours, Oxton who are soon to be involved in after school coaching sessions run by TRIC.

Meanwhile, Antony Kay, Ian Moore and Chris Shuker were in the Learning Centre promoting the Playing For Success scheme set to start at St Joseph's Primary School.
