Rovers Helping Supporters Give Up Smoking

Tranmere Rovers have joined forces with NHS Wirral and Nicotinell to help supporters give up smoking in 2009.

Rovers players Chris Greenacre, Danny Coyne, Gareth Edds and John Achterberg were at the launch of the campaign which sees special sessions taking place at Prenton Park.

Wirral Stop Smoking Service will be providing sessions at the Bunny Bell Bar, Prenton Park on Thursday evenings.

You can Drop-in or book an appointment anytime from 5.00 - 7.30p.m.

The Stop Smoking Service offers:
* Free confidential help and support
* Advice on a range of available treatments (Nicotine replacement therapy, Zyban or Champix)
* Ongoing support while you quit
