Tranmere Rovers In The Community are celebrating their move into a new base at Prenton Park.

The team's transfer into new offices near matchday reception in the Main Stand will give them improved facilities from which to run their highly successful community programmes.

The Club's charity has also benefitted from new furniture funded by the Sam Bencheikh Memorial Fund and provided by the Desk Centre.

Community officer Steve Williams said: "We're delighted with our new home.

"It's a much larger base that will allow us to work more effectively as we work with all ages and abilities throughout Wirral and beyond.

"We'd like to thank the Club, the Sam Bencheikh Memorial Fund and the Desk Centre for helping this happen."

The dedicated team of Tranmere Rovers In The Community staff work in various fields, including disability football, ladies football, Duke of Edinburgh Awards, smoking and health and fitness clinics, soccer schools, education and much more.
