Children from four local primary schools were also involved in Wirral Council's Diversity Week football tournament at the Learning Centre earlier today.
Youngsters from Woodlands, St. Werburgh's, St. Joseph's and Christchurch schools played in a 6-a-side competition hosted by Tranmere Rovers in the Community and also participated in workshops on an anti-racism theme which included a talk from Tony Excell (Equality & Diversity Officer) from the Department of Adult Social Services.
Rovers players Ash Taylor and Kithson Bain attended the Equality and Diversity event at Wallasey Town Hall where they presented winning school St Werburgh's with their trophy.
