Gilbrook School emerged victorious from the Sam Bencheikh Memorial Festival at Prenton Park earlier this week.

The tournament, run by Tranmere Rovers In The Community in the Learning Centre, featured six local schools, with Orrets Meadow the beaten finalists and Hayfield finishing third.

The winning team will receive their trophy from members of the Tranmere first team squad at a special presentation.
