Calday Grammar claimed a narrow 2-1 victory over Wirral Grammar in the Sam Bencheikh Memorial Fund charity match at Prenton Park.
Around 400 spectators gathered to watch the two teams of teachers go head to head for the second time with commentary provided throughout by Peter McDowall.
Pre-match entertainment included an under-7s game while half time featured a cross bar challenge and a dance routine from Hoylake School of Dance.
All funds raised on the night went towards the purchase of new kits for Tranmere's under-12, under-16 and open age disability teams. £2,000 was raised which was kindly matched by Barclays Bank of Liscard.
The next event taking place as part of the Sam Bencheikh Memorial Fund is the Wirral Coastal Walk on Sunday, 23 May, with sponsor forms available from Tranmere Rovers In The Community on 0151 608 2354.
