Tranmere Rovers Ladies goalkeeper Chrissy Roberts has been named Cheshire County FA's Volunteer of the Year.

Chrissy, who joined the Ladies' first team last season after progressing through the club's junior sides, recieved the award from committee member Kevin Mighall in a presentation at Prenton Park last week.

She won the accolade for her volunteer work with Tranmere Ladies' junior section, events at the County FA and local schools and her mentor work with other volunteers.
