Ronnie: "We Played Well From Start To Finish"
Ronnie Moore was pleased to see his side return to winning ways at Prenton Park with a 3-1 defeat of Bournemouth.
Calvin Zola, who earned praise from the Manager, opened the scoring, with Chris Greenacre and Steve Jennings also on target.
Moore said: "I thought we played well from start to finish and had a lot of chances. I'm pleased with the attitude because today was about attitude, not pretty football. There was water all over the pitch, but we did well and moved it in the right areas. We said before the game that our season starts today and that's what we've done. But we have to build on that now.
"I was well pleased with the way we came back, especially from the disappointment of the midweek result.
"Calvin can be what he wants to be. I see him every day in training and he shouldn't really have to win supporters over. He has pace, causes problems with his ability and he is a threat. I'm pleased I've got him. We'll work on him and make him into a better player."
