Ronnie Moore hopes his players can take inspiration from their early season successes in long distance away trips when they take on Brighton on Tuesday night.

Rovers make the trip to the Withdean Stadium on the back of a 1-1 draw against Leyton Orient and a 2-0 win over Leeds, and the Manager hopes his players can further extend their unbeaten run.

He told Tranmere World: "We've played two sides in the top seven and we took four points out of six. You've got to be bright and positive and look forward to the Brighton game. It would be nice to have had the six points, but we're five games unbeaten and it would be nice to make that ten.

"We're not a million miles away from being a good side at this level. We fear nobody. If we perform the way we did at Leeds, there's nobody we should be frightened of. Anybody playing Tranmere knows they're going to be in for a tough game.

"We play Brighton now which won't be easy. They'll be hurting from conceding two late goals on Saturday. If we felt sick, what will they be like? We expect another tough, physical game.

"It's a nightmare trip. We've got Swansea on a Tuesday and Bournemouth on Easter Monday as well. They've really thrown the difficult ones at us, but earlier in the season when they threw all those long trips at us, we came away with good results. Hopefully we can do that again on Tuesday."
