Ronnie: "It's The Business End Now"
Ronnie Moore says his players have to take the performance from the second half at Swansea into Saturday's match against Hartlepool.
Rovers go into the game two points off the Play Offs with the visitors four points further back.
The Manager told Tranmere World: "It's the business end now and there's not many games to go. We're still in with a great shout. Hartlepool are on a good run, they've won the last three games. But if we can perform like we did at Swansea…I thought we were magnificent there. We have to bring that to the home games.
"We have to realise that we can play football. We can play it at the back and we don't have to kick and rush and panic like we did at Oldham. The second half at Swansea we out footballed the best footballing side in the division.
"We've got three out of the next four at home. We have to win them, simple as that. If you make an error now you're playing catch up. It's like pacman, everyone is chasing the fifth and sixth spot. It's about who's got the strength of mind and character to go and grab it. I honestly believe we're as good as anybody in the league and we've got nine games to go and prove it."
Meanwhile, the Manager said he was yet to decide whether or not to include Steve Jennings in his starting line-up, with the midfielder returning from suspension.
He added: "When players are out it's nice when you win games because they become a bit vulnerable. When Goodison hasn't played we've not won many and we want to put that one to bed. Jenno was missing for three games and we didn't win one. But I thought all the midfield did well on Tuesday. Do you stick with the 4-3-3 or go back to what you're used to at home with the 4-4-2? It's nice when Jenno is available, it gives me four players for three spots when we're away or four players for two spots if we're 4-4-2."
