Rovers Manager Ronnie Moore admitted his side "got what they deserved" in a 2-1 defeat at Bournemouth.

He said: "To perform in the way we did during the first half was a big let down.

"I don't know if some of them thought it would be easy.

"The way Bournemouth lined up was for a damage limitation exercise. They must have been more than happy to be confronted with the performance we put in today. I don't know why it is we throw in a performance like that from time to time. The players knew what was at stake and they know that if you don't put the effort and commitment in at this level you'll come unstuck - no matter what the opposition."

"We put ourselves in a great position and now we've lost a little bit of ground"

"If our wingers had done what they were told there wouldn't have been a problem. Unfortunately for us they were brain dead. In the end we changed things in the second half and pushed Shane Sherriff inside.

"But we got what we deserved and I'm bitterly disappointed for the supporters who travelled five or six hours to come here and see that performance in the first half. It was totally unacceptable."
