Ronnie Moore felt his side deserved more from the game as they suffered their first defeat in five matches.

A late goal from Kevin Gallen saw Rovers lose 1-0 at MK Dons and the run of clean sheets come to an end.

The Manager said: "It's frustrating. The game plan worked well - Danny made one save in the 94th minute. We didn't create umpteen chances but we certainly had the best chances. We certainly didn't deserve to lose the game.

"A set play has cost us, but it was probably the worst corner they took today. He just got half a yard in front of Jenno, got a touch on it and unfortunately for us it hit Greenacre and went in when on another day it would have hit him and come out.

"I thought Cresswell came in and was magnificent, he did nothing wrong. He looked like he'd been there for a long time. I'm well pleased with him and he has shown he can adapt to this level.

"We're gutted. There are too many tight games that we're losing. The Oldham game was a tight one that we lost and there was today, and there are a lot of tight games coming up. We've just got to work a bit harder."

Meanwhile, the Manager revealed that Ian Goodison would miss both the Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie against Morecambe and FA Cup tie against Accrington Stanley through injury.
