Ronnie Moore says his players have to make the most of their chance to impress on television tomorrow night when Rovers take on Accrington Stanley in the FA Cup First Round Replay.

The Manager told Tranmere World: "It's an opportunity for us to show people that we are a good side. It's up to us to take the game to Accrington. We know what they're about, they'll come and play 4-5-1 and we just have to be patient and break them down.

"It's the FA Cup and we've got the opportunity to get through to the Second Round. But it won't be easy. They've got some good players and we have to take the game to them, play at a high tempo, get crosses into the box and get midfielders making runs."

Meanwhile, Moore admits it isn't ideal preparation for Saturday's game against Southend but says a win would make the tired legs disappear.

"It's not easy," he added. "I know clubs in Europe do it playing in the UEFA Cup on a Thursday and in the league on the Saturday, but it's easier when you've got a squad of 50 players. But this is an opportunity thrown at us which we couldn't turn down, and players are better playing than training. They'll play Thursday, probably have a swim on Friday and get ready for a massive game against Southend on Saturday.

"The only problem you do have is that if you get a muscle injury on Thursday there's little chance of them playing on Saturday.

"If you win the game it doesn't matter as everyone is up and high. We know what we've got to do and we want to do it in 90 minutes."
