Les Parry hopes to see his side claim their second win in a row in Tuesday night's FA Cup Second Round Replay at Aldershot.
Rovers' 1-0 win over Brentford on Saturday took Tranmere to four games unbeaten, but the Caretaker Manager wants to see the run continue.
He told Tranmere Player: "The lads will be fired up because it's the FA Cup. We still haven't had two consecutive wins so that will be our aim tomorrow.
"Results when you're playing poorly give you a bit of confidence, playing well but not getting results gives you a bit of confidence, but playing well and getting results gives you a massive boost.
"I think Aldershot will have to open up a bit more because they're at home. I'm sure they'll be aware of the threats we've got. They play football and they're really well organised. They came here to get a result and they got it. We've got to go down there now and do what they did to us."
Parry praised strikers Terry Gornell, Craig Curran and Ian Thomas-Moore whose hard work he believes is beginning to pay off.
"When we first took over the three of them were working their socks off for us," Parry continued.
"Their work rate was magnificent, but they weren't getting many chances because of the way we were playing and when they were getting chances they weren't taking them. I felt sorry for them because it's always nice when someone puts in that amount of work for them to get payback. Over the last three or four games they've started to score goals and long may it continue.
"We are pushing forward a little better and the lads are taking their chances."
Meanwhile, Parry had good news on the injury front, with both Bas Savage and Alan Mahon taking part in training at the end of last week.
He added: "Bas Savage trained with the squad on Thursday and Friday which he was made up about. He's still a long way away, but he did well.
"Alan Mahon joined in as well and he's not a million miles away.
Ian Goodison is repairing slowly. Shukes was on the bench on Saturday but I was praying I didn't have to use him because his ankle wasn't 100%. Ian Thomas-Moore played with a knock as well."
