Les Parry felt a draw was the right result as his side shared a goalless draw against Carlisle United at Prenton Park.
The Manager told Tranmere Player: "We cancelled each other out. At the end of the first half we had a few chances and there were periods of the second half where we dominated but we could have lost it at the end.
"I think we edged both halves but a draw was a fair result. Any saves made came from scrappy situations.
"That was the type of game we would have lost a couple of months ago. But the lads again were resilient and kept going. Carlisle are a good, strong side and we'll look back on today as an excellent point."
