Les Parry was delighted with his side's three point haul at Gillingham after Ian Thomas-Moore scored the only goal of the game.
The Manager said: "It was our first away win under me and it's great, especially after the defeat on Saturday.
"That was a disappointing performances but for the lads to come here and perform like that and thoroughly deserve their win is brilliant.
"I thought in the first-half Gillingham had a lot of movement in front of us but we never got sucked out.
"We had four or five chances where their keeper has made some great saves.
"I thought this was going to be one of those nights and it was going to end 0-0 or they would sneak a goal.
"It took a while for the ball to go in - but luckily Ian has finished it."
