Tranmere Manager Les Parry declared himself satisfied with his side's draw at Southend.
Rovers went 1-0 down early on when Zoumana Bakayogo conceded a penalty but Ian Goodison equalised early in the second half before a fine save denied Ian Thomas-Moore a winner.
The Manager said: "You have to be pleased with a point when you come in 1-0 down.
"It was a clear penalty but we lost our shape and the lad was the wrong side of him for the penalty.
"It was probably the poorest we have played away from home for a while and all in all it was a fair result.
"It was a good save to deny Ian and it would have been an injustice if we had won."
