Les Parry says he hopes his side make the most of their home advantage over the next week as Rovers face back to back games at Prenton Park.

Tranmere host Leyton Orient on Saturday before playing at home to Huddersfield Town on Tuesday.

The Manager told Tranmere Player: "We've got two very difficult games coming up. But they're on our patch so the emphasis will be on us to win the games. We've still got a little bit of travelling to do - our only close games are Stockport and Walsall. But the balance of games left is leaning towards home games which can only be good for us.

"[Leyton Orient] show that two or three good results on the bounce...they're third on current form and it has lifted them up to mid table. Two consecutive wins would put us up there with them and it's a nice aim for the lads."

Meanwhile, Parry said he was yet to decide whether to include Bas Savage in the squad on Saturday after the striker completed another reserve game on Monday night.

He added: "Had we needed him I'd have taken him to Southend and put him on the bench. I don't think Bas is ready for a 90 minute match - I know he does. But saying that he does give us something different if he was on the bench. Whether he's even ready for that yet...at the end of the day when a player is on the bench, there's a potential - as Charlton found out in the week - that someone needs to play 89 minutes. Depending on who else we had on the bench they might be able to do that. If he's not involved on Saturday he will be really disappointed, but that's the nature of the game."

Elsewhere, Ian Goodison and Craig Curran have both missed training this week but the Manager expects the pair to be available on Saturday.

He continued: "Had we had a game on Tuesday Ian wouldn't have played because his ankle flared up again, and Craig Curran wouldn't have played because he had a dead leg. I think Craig will be ok. With Ian, at a guesstimate I'd say he'll be ok on Saturday but that might give us problems on Tuesday because if it flares up to the same extent he won't be available."
