Les Parry was disappointed to see his side lose 2-0 at home to Huddersfield but didn't have any complaints.
The Manager told Tranmere Player: "They scored at two good times. We thought we were the better side in the first half. They scored early on but then all the pressure was from us so we were a bit disappointed to come in one down.
"We felt if we kept it tight at the back and carried on pressing like we had been we could get an equaliser but they scored a second goal straight away which has killed us. They are set up for counter attacking, that's their game. They kept on turning us all the time. We'd be attacking, lose the ball and they'd end up with a chance.
"It was disappointing, but the first half performance was one of our better performances. The second half performance was understandable because we were 2-0 down, chasing the game and it's the wrong team to be chasing the game against."
Meanwhile, the Manager revealed that Gareth Edds was substituted at half time due to concussion.
