Les Parry is aiming for at least 50 points as he bids to secure the Club's place in League One for next season.
Tranmere's draw at Bristol Rovers on Saturday took them to 37 points with 11 games remaining.
The Manager told Tranmere Player: "We know what we need to do and we know what sort of points target we need to be aiming for. Everybody needs around 50 points to be sure. I don't want to be going to Stockport on the last day of the season still needing a result, we want to be clear of it before then. With three points for a win it will be difficult getting clear of it with five or six games left, but it would be nice to play Millwall here on the second to last game and already be safe.
"It was a great point [at Bristol Rovers]. They had four wins in their last five games so they'd have really fancied themselves to come away with an easy win.
"We'd been talking about clean sheets for the last couple of games because we had a decent run of keeping a lot of them but we hadn't kept one for a few games. So it was good to get back to a clean sheet and I'm sure Luke Daniels enjoyed it. It shows the lads' character as well after the 4-1 defeat.
"It made a difference having Ash [Taylor] back. He's not just a tall lad who heads and kicks it, he's a bit of a footballer too. He contributes on that side as well."
