Les Parry wants his side to get back in the winning habit.
Rovers go to Dagenham & Redbridge on Saturday on the back of home defeats against Bournemouth and Swansea City and the Manager is keen to end the run.
He told Tranmere Player: "We've got to get out of there and string a couple of wins together. It's no secret that we've both got one point, them from two games, us from three, and it's a very big game for us. Saying that, it's only worth three points. We need to win a game just to stop hearing on the radio and reading in the paper and being beaten at home in three games. You need to beat sequences.
"It's important we get the win because people will start drawing comparisons with last season. But looking at the squad and the way we're playing, I think we're in a lot stronger a position than we were last season.
"Dagenham play 4-4-2 and our reports say that defensively they're very strong. They work very hard and they've created some quality chances."
The Manager revealed that he feels more confident striker Ian Thomas-Moore will stay at the Club after speaking to him after the Swansea game.
He added: "The pendulum has now swung the other way. Where it looked like for all intents and purposes he was going to leave us, we're going to have a chat this morning but it now looks 70-30 that he's going to stay with us which is good news.
"I've noticed Rotherham have signed a striker, and I've had a chat with him and he doesn't want to leave us. I think he's going to agree with the second year we've offered him."
Meanwhile, Parry said he had been impressed with trialist Sam Morrow after the Coleraine striker trained with Rovers earlier this week.
He continued: "We've got Sam Morrow on trial at the moment and he looks a bit of a class act. He needs to improve his fitness but I'm sure if we get him fit we'll see a decent player.
"I'll have a chat with him and see if we can agree terms. We're still looking for a midfield player but if we don't bring one in it's not a problem as one week after the window closes we can bring people in on loan and we've got five or six midfielders, class midfielders, who we can bring in on loan at the drop of a hat."
