Les Parry says he was pleased with the contribution made by Ryan Brunt in Saturday's game at Wycombe.
The striker came on as a second half substitute for Mustafa Tiryaki, playing the final half hour of the 2-1 defeat.
Having joined on loan from Stoke City a week earlier, it was the 18-year old's second appearance for the Club.
The Manager told Tranmere Player: "I thought he did really well. He held it up well and had a couple of chances.
"He'll probably be disappointed he didn't take one of his chances but he showed that he can do something for us."
