Tranmere and Brighton shared the points in a very tight encounter at the Withdean Stadium.
There were few real chances for either side, with both defences dealing well with most of what was thrown at them.
Results around League One meant Rovers stayed in sixth place, moving one point closer to Walsall in fifth.
Ronnie Moore again went with an unchanged starting line-up, with the Ian Moore - Calvin Zola partnership continuing in attack

Despite a smaller following than usual, it was the visiting fans who were loudest as the game began, with a number of different chants in support of Rovers.
Jennison Myrie-Williams had the game's first shot in the second minute, but he struck it well wide of goal from outside the area.
Brighton's Dean Bowditch put Nick Forster through on five minutes, but Danny Coyne was quickly off his line to force him wide and he was unable to keep his cross in play.
Andy Taylor and Antony Kay dealt with another attack started by Bowditch on ten minutes, while Rovers survived a couple of scrambles around the area which had the potential to provide Brighton with a shooting opportunity.
A Myrie-Williams cross gave Moore a chance on 30 minutes, but his flick header was straight at Michael Kuipers and the match remained goalless.
The home side had the ball in the Rovers net on 33 minutes, with Glenn Murray heading in from a free kick, but referee Pat Miller was quick to blow for a push in the build up and the effort was ruled out.
Taylor forced a save out of Kuipers from 25 yards with a minute of the half remaining, while Myrie-Williams had a shot deflected behind for a corner in injury time. Rovers won three corners in quick succession as the half drew to a close, but they were unable to take advantage and went in level at the break.
Brighton's Bowditch put a shot at Coyne on 53 minutes, with the rebound from Forster being turned behind for a corner. Dean Cox took the set piece, with Andy Whing's header being caught by Coyne and Rovers were able to break out of their area.
Myrie-Williams shot wide from the edge of the area two minutes later after Shane Sherriff knocked down Paul McLaren's free kick.
The hosts won a free kick of their own within seconds, this time Cox curled his effort narrowly beyond the far post.
Zola shot wide from 12 yards on 70 minutes after turning on to a pass from Moore as Rovers pressed for a winner.
It was a tense second half, with both sides struggling to break down the opposition defence. On 83 minutes Forster put his cross wide of Coyne's goal, while Chris Greenacre replaced Zola in attack soon after.
But Greenacre, like the other strikers on the pitch, was unable to find the net and the sides had to settle for a point apiece.
