Anamal Dance Company, the official dance group of Tranmere Rovers, were victorious at the World Street Dance Championships at the weekend.

Teams from Germany, Holland, Denmark, Switzerland, Ireland, Scotland and more competed in a range of categories at the United Dance Organisations (UDO) event with Anamal Unleashed winning the Over-16s newcomers category.

The World Championship victory comes hot on the heels of first place in the UDO North West Street Dancing Championships in April.

The dance group, which is based in Hoylake, was formed just over twelve months ago.

Anamal provide pre-match and half time entertainment at all Tranmere Rovers home games.
