Ronnie Moore said a scan of Steve Davies' knee should give the Club an indication of how long he will be out of action for.

The winger had to be stretchered off the pitch during Saturday's game against Northampton and was replaced by Mike Jones.

The Manager told Tranmere World: "We still don't know the extent of the injury, but he'll have a scan tomorrow afternoon. We hope it's only cartilage but it could be cruciate ligaments which would be frustating for us.

"You knew something was wrong when he signalled straight away. There's not a lot of swelling but there's a lot of movement in there. We've just got to wait and see."
