Tranmere's new signing Ian Moore has been given the number nine shirt vacated by Gareth Taylor.

Though the striker usually wore the number ten shirt during his first spell at Prenton Park, he wore the number nine shirt on a number of occasions.

In fact, the first time he wore the shirt was in January 1996, when he scored Rovers' only goal in a 1-1 draw against Sheffield United.

Moore has already scored nine goals this season.
