Ronnie Moore says the midweek results have proved the final few games of the season could well produce a surprise or two.
The Rovers boss takes his team to Huddersfield - who beat Leeds on Tuesday - on Saturday and has his aim firmly set on three wins out of three.
He told Tranmere World: "It has always been game on. Leeds are in the driving seat, there's no doubt about that. But it's not easy for them to go down to Millwall and win. It's vital that we win. We've got three games left and if we win all three we'll see if the door has been opened for us.
"The most important thing is that we do our job. If we go to Huddersfield and win we could come off, find out Leeds have lost and all of a sudden there's two points in it with two games to go. There's still a twist and a turn to come, I'm sure of that.
"I went to the Huddersfield Leeds game. The tension was horrible. Huddersfield played really well and we've got a game on. They were up for it and they just about deserved to win. We're in for a tough game and we have to turn up. If we turn up I think it's a game we can win.
"They're high tension games now, especially for us. I think we'll take decent support there and the most important thing is to go there and not let ourselves down."
Meanwhile, the Manager said he was yet to decide who to replace the suspended Paul McLaren with in midfield.
He added: "McLaren will come out, but I've got the option of bringing Mullin in, bringing Ahmed in or bringing Ben Chorley back in and putting Antony Kay in midfield.
"Davies has a little niggle so he won't train today. We'll have a look at him tomorrow and if he's fit enough he'll be involved."
