The referee for Saturday's match at Northampton will be Eddie Ilderton.

It will be the third time this season that Mr Ilderton has taken charge of a Rovers game, having also been the man in the middle when Ronnie Moore's side won at Carlisle and drew at home to Leyton Orient.

This season he has been in charge of 30 games, the most recent being Preston's 2-2 draw with Ipswich.

The referee's assistants will be M Dexter and G Young, with A Rayner the fourth official.
