Tranmere v Blackpool - Saturday 3pm
Tranmere's final home pre-season friendly of the summer sees them take on Championship side Blackpool on Saturday, kick off 3pm.
Rovers have won their last four friendlies, with wins coming against Heswall, Marine, Southport and Morecambe, while Tuesday's game against Bolton Wanderers was a victim of the torrential rain that fell on Wirral.
Ronnie Moore will be without injured players Chris Shuker, Chris Greenacre and Danny Coyne, but all three could be available for the start of the season. New signings Godwin Antwi and Charlie Barnett are in line for their first appearances at Prenton Park in a Tranmere shirt.
Blackpool manager Simon Grayson has suffered with injuries to several of his squad throughout pre-season, but boosted his numbers earlier this week with the signings of Daniel Nardiello and Zesh Rehmann from Queens Park Rangers.
The last time the two sides met was at Bloomfield Road towards the end of the 2006-07 season, when Blackpool won 3-2. The last friendly between the teams was in July 1987, with Blackpool winning 2-1 at home. In competitive matches Rovers hold the edge with 17 wins to Blackpool's 9 in 32 meetings.
Admission on Saturday is just £7 for Adults, with concessions (Juniors, Seniors and Young Persons) £3. For more details, click here.
