Ian Goodison's World Cup Qualifying came to an end last night despite Jamaica's 3-0 win over Canada in Kingston.

Honduras' 1-0 win over Mexico left Jamaica tied with Mexico on points in their group, but with inferior goal difference. Honduras qualified in top spot.

The win was Jamaica's third in a row under caretaker coach Theo Whitmore who now hands over his duties to John Barnes.

Tranmere's Goodison played the full 90 minutes and made the third goal with a cross from the left wing.
