Kay Nominated For Monthly Award

Tranmere captain Antony Kay has been nominated for the Powerade League One Player of the Month for December.

The midfielder scored crucial late winners against Brighton and Walsall, and also found the net against Leeds.

Up against him for the award are Leicester City's Matt Fryatt, Peterborough's Aaron McLean and Huddersfield Town's Gary Roberts.

The winner will be announced on Sky Sports' Big League Weekend 2 which goes out at 6pm on Monday, 12 January.
