Rovers Boss Ronnie Moore has paid tribute to John Achterberg in the build up to his testimonial.
Rovers take on an Everton XI on Monday, 30 March in John's big match, while a host of legends are set to return to Prenton Park for a special game earlier in the evening.
Moore told Tranmere World: "John is a big crowd favourite. Some of the saves he's made, and some of the games the Club has won through his saves…he's been magnificent.
"It's rare these days to get testimonials, so it shows how loyal he has been to the Club. I just hope the supporters are loyal to John and that they do back him and get behind him for his testimonial."
Tickets for John's Testimonial are now on sale from the Tranmere Rovers Ticket Office. Prices are as follows:
Adults £10, Juniors (16 and under) and Seniors (60+) £5. Family ticket (2 adults + 2 juniors, must be bought in advance) £25.
Tranmere Suite Adults £20, Juniors £10. Vice Presidents Suite Adults £25, Juniors £12.50. Dixie Dean Suite Adults £30, Juniors £15. Season tickets do not apply for this match.
