Friday night football will return to Prenton Park with two Tranmere Rovers fixtures re-arranged in 2009/10.

Following Football League approval, the following matches have changed on the advice of Merseyside Police:

Friday, 15 January, kick off 7.45pm v Yeovil Town

Friday, 19 March, kick off 7.45pm v Hartlepool United

Chief Executive Mick Horton said: "Unusually there were very few clashes with major Liverpool and Everton matches in the fixture list, so Merseyside Police only advised us to move two games.

"Also, the majority of teams in the division are southern based, so few clubs are prepared to voluntarily move to a Friday because of the long distance involved making it difficult for their fans to travel."
