There was no easy start for the players on their return to pre-season training this morning as they were put through their paces at Prenton Park.

After meeting the new Manager, John Barnes' squad did speed testing with Les Parry before going on a long distance run.

MIdfielder Mark Allott joined up with his new team mates including first year professionals Ash Taylor, Josh Macauley and Ryan Fraughan.
