Tranmere's Under-18s will begin the season with a trip to Blackpool on Saturday August 15.

Shaun Garnett's squad will again compete in the Youth Alliance North West, alongside Port Vale, Macclesfield, Wrexham, Walsall, Wigan, Stockport, Shrewsbury, Chester, Oldham, Preston, Morecambe, Rochdale, Carlisle, Bury, Burnley, Accrington Stanley and Blackpool.

Rovers have also been drawn away in the First Round of the Youth Alliance Cup Northern Section. They will travel to Port Vale on Saturday, 3 October.
