Ian Goodison's first half header in Tuesday night's 2-0 win over Southend United was his fourth strike for Rovers since he joined the Club towards the end of the 2003-04 season.
Putting his wonder strike against Blackpool in 2004-05 to one side, the remaining three have all come from close range.
His back post header at Yeovil in 2005-06 was from barely two yards out, and his strike at Prenton Park against Walsall last season was from similar distance.
Goodison, who has scored nine times for Jamaica, even scored one from inside the six yard box for Tranmere in a pre-season friendly against Stoke City in the summer of 2008.
Rovers have yet to lose a game in which Goodison has scored, winning three and drawing the other.
